Wild ARMs XF offical website goes live

After a long wait, Wild ARMs XF (pronounced as Crossfire) is finally nearing its March 17 release in North America. Fans of tactical roleplaying games on the Sony PlayStation Portable would do themselves justice if they check out the website publisher XSEED Games recently launched, unless they want to miss out on a promising title.

Japanese video game developer Media Vision isn't exactly known for SRPGs, and taking the Wild Arms series to a new direction on Sony's handheld surprised many, but anyone can get excited after browsing through a few pages of XF's website. After all, the game promises extended playing time due to its rich cast of gun-totting characters and job classes.

Combat in Wild Arms XF took parts of the hex system from Wild Arms 4 and 5 then added new elements such as the formation and combination arts that require you to be mindful about your characters' positioning.
