There's nothing quite like coming across juicy new details of a game that you love, especially if that game is being remade. We're referring to Star Ocean: The Second Evolution, of course. As to the juicy details, Square Enix has information to share with eager fans, all of which have been put up on the game's official website.
Besides the Star Ocean: The Second Evolution characters that Famitsu had already previewed before, of particular interest are the gameplay elements, the gameplay system, the game specs of the remake. Square Enix even confirmed the aforementioned release date of Star Ocean: The Second Evolution. Yes, it's still set for April 2, 2008.
It appears as if Square Enix has given these old features a graphical facelift, and has added other new options to play around with to boot. For example, old favorites Claude Kenni and Rena Lanford get facial expressions depending on the current game events. As was the case with The First Departure, anime cut scenes have been included as well.
While we enjoyed looking through the pretty pictures and listening to the epic background music, the website was unfortunately in undecipherable Japanese. Nevertheless, if you want to see it for yourself, the source link below will take you there.
