Homebrew: easier save editing with Savegame Deemer v1.10

PSP - Image 1

A new version of Savegame Deemer has been released on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum courtesy of homebrew developer Hellcat. In case you missed our previous post on this app, Savegame Deemer is a plugin that lets PSP users save their games' savedata in unencrypted form, making it easier for users to edit their savedata.

Savegame Deemer is now at version 1.10. This version carries with is some major changes that deal with incompatibility issues when using it. Users will also be glad to know that the the app should work with most, if not all, games. Here's the full changelog straight from the developer's post:
  • Did some major internal changes due to huge compatibility issues when actually running/using the plugin. Should be way more stable now, hopefully running on 100 (or at least 99.9 ) of the games. Also it's only one .PRX now, not splitted in two anymore, since the main .PRX is now a native kernel mode one.
  • The usual minor bug fixes
  • Added a new feature to patch/overwrite the SFO params/info on save (see readme)
Notice that "see readme" reminder in that last item? It's good advice. Check the readme file included in the download below before you do anything with this plugin. It should minimize any chances of you encountering problems later. If you have any questions about Savegame Deemer, drop by our PSP Development forum by clicking the visit link below.
