Fonfun announces Neverland 2in1 Portable: Olerud Kingdom & Republic of Pluto for Japan

Japan-based video game development company Fonfun Corporation has just informed us via a press release that it will be releasing two games in one UMD this coming April based from the long-running Neverland franchise.

The titles in the two-for-one UMD are Olerud Kingdom and Republic of Pluto, and will cost gamers 3,990 yen (US 37). Fonfun didn't mention, however, if there are any plans for international releases.

Neverland, for those not familiar with it is quite similar to The Sims franchise. Players begin the games as ordinary citizens of fictional worlds and slowly progress their way up to the top. Aside from sheer hard work, the NPC units in the game will also help decide your fate.

The good thing about Neverland games is that the your character's life is quite similar to the real life we all live through- full of conflicts, surprises, and whatnot- only with a bit of a twist. Elements that can be found in the game include swordplay, magic, and martial arts among many others.
