Comic book fans, gather around. Want something new? D2Comics, pioneering the concept of digital comics (dubbed a "multimedia experience"), has announced the release of The Cryptics for the PlayStation Portable. It's not actually animated or anything, but it's not your typical comic book either.
The Cryptics was created by Ben Roman and Steve Niles, and revolves around the adventures of well-known monsters living in - eek! - the suburbs. We'll get to follow chibi versions of the monsters: Drac, Sea-Boy, Wolfy, and others. We've got a number of screenshots and videos for The Cryptics showing the movement involved in the said digital comic.
According to reports, The Cryptics will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and PC PlayStation Stores and it will come in two flavors, PC and PSP. It might be worth checking out, after all, it's only US 2.99. Check out the videos and screenshots below and tell us what you think.
