XviD4PSP 5.027 RC7 - improved PMP format encoding, aspects logic - Image 1Homebrew developer Winnydows has just released a quick update for the PlayStation Portable video converter application XviD4PSP. The last full build, 5.025, went live back in November and there have been a lot of changes since then.

This release, dubbed as 5.027 RC7, is only valid for the full version of XviD4PSP 5.025 and not with the lite one. The changelog for the update are as follows:

    • Fixed encoding some files to PMP format.
    • Rewritten and fixed a little resolution change and aspects logic.

    • Added support link.
    • Fixed TDecimate not found.

    • Interlacing settings.
    • A lot of different de-interlace methods.
    • Options for control auto de-interlacing.
    • New safe interlace detection engine.
    • Framerate windows combined with interlace window.
    • Framerate errors must be fixed.
    • Tuned aspect detection.
    • Fixed resolution change.
    • Fixed TTF order set.
    • Returned AVI Hardware HD.
    • 3GP lowed to lowest x264 and XviD settings for phone compatibility.
